Location: Chatswood, Sydney
Within the initial brief for this beautiful Chatswood project, we established the need to introduce a selection of materials that would not only work in with the home but modernise the space itself.
The garden felt cluttered and the space outdated so we wanted to transform it with a lush and eye-catching design.
We chose a cool grey natural porphyry stone tile to surround the pool and created several feature walls that complement the space and introduced blue hues, quartz whites and rusted orange tones.
For the entertaining deck and pool feature screen, we chose a composite timber by Millboard decking which is resistant to weathering and staining that adds a modern appeal.
For the garden design – We incorporated two styles; A pool area which is is bright and open, modernised through the choice of contemporary pots which are a great, more flexible alternative to in-ground garden beds. The plants themselves are lush and architectural, whilst also being low maintenance and in colour year-round.
A garden design that also offers a tranquil sub-tropical sanctuary. A winding bluestone path paired with tropical feature planting creates the perfect spot to escape whilst also acting as an excellent backdrop to the modern outdoor pool area.
